Old House Rule #1
Just because there is no standing water in your basement does not mean that your basement is dry.
Nothing major. I haven't been down to the creepy-crawly basement all summer and just assumed that like my last basement in my 8 year old house, it was fine. Just creepy-crawly. Not so. It is cold and damp. Nothing major got damaged but what is down there is damp and yucky.
